Last week was our first week of school, and we got to meet our great group of 6th grade students! In our class on Friday, students had an opportunity to work collaboratively on a STEAM project titled "The Marshmallow Challenge." The objective was to work as a team to build the tallest free-standing structure with the following materials provided: 20 pieces of spaghetti, 1 marshmallow, 1 yard of tape, and scissors. It's that time of year again- Time to head back and start a new school year! I am new to blogging, but I am looking forward to writing about all the amazing work that my students produce throughout the year! I can't believe that school already begins THIS THURSDAY!
