Recommended Resources
Here are a few of the best resources for new teachers. I have also been collecting and organizing excellent resources organized into subject specific categories. You can find that link here.
GAFE
(Google Apps for Education) Google has completely revolutionized education with their free education products. With hardware (Chromebooks) and software (Google Docs, Slides) I can do incredible things with my students. They streamline the ability for teachers and students to collaborate online. They also provide tools that foster classroom organizational methods, which are second to none. I truly cannot imagine my classroom without GAFE. |
#edchat Radio Podcast
This is a ten-minute podcast that highlights conversations from the weekly #edchat Twitter chat topic. The weekly themes provides development opportunities, classroom strategies, and inspiration to grow as an educator. |
NewsELA
